In nature it occurs almost exclusively in the tea plant (Camellia sinensis) and partly determines the taste of tea.
About 500 amino acids occur in nature.
Twenty of these are amino acids, which serve as building blocks for proteins in the human body.
L-theanine is a free amino acid that is neither an essential amino acid nor a non-essential amino acid. Theanine is not incorporated into body proteins but does have therapeutic effects.
It is quickly absorbed after ingestion and can be taken shortly before bedtime or in the morning, combined with caffeine.
This product is guaranteed free from: gluten, eggs, milk and/or dairy products (lactose), soy, fish and/or fish products, shellfish, celery, mustard, peanuts and nuts, sesame seeds, preservatives and synthetic fragrances, colours and flavours.
This product is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
