Dietary fiber (or fiber for short) is the collective name for a diverse group of carbohydrates that are not digested or absorbed by our intestines. Our food doesn't contain just one type of fiber, but a mixture of many different types. All these different types of fiber have different effects in our bodies.

Fiber in food
Dietary fiber comes primarily from the cell walls of plants. Important sources of fiber include vegetables, fruit, potatoes, whole-wheat bread, breakfast cereals, legumes, and nuts. When grinding grains into flour or hulling rice, a large portion of the fiber is removed. Therefore, whole-grain products (whole-wheat bread, whole-wheat pasta, bulgur, whole-wheat couscous, and brown rice) are richer in fiber than other types of bread and white rice. Animal products do not contain fiber.
Because our food is so processed and contains little fiber, it is advisable to supplement your daily fiber intake.

100% pure Acacia fibers.

Usage
Mix 2 generous teaspoons (4 grams) with a large glass of water. If mixing isn't optimal, it's best to first fill the glass halfway with water and add the acacia fibers while stirring.
It is easier to add acacia fiber to your diet for better dissolution and optimal digestion.
Acacia fiber can also be added as a dry ingredient to a portion of oatmeal, which can then be used to prepare your favorite oatmeal porridge.
This way you enrich your oatmeal porridge with even more fiber!
