Neocate Dietary Food LCPNeocate LCP is a food for medical use. Dietary food for cow's milk allergy, multiple food allergies and other indications where an amino acid-based diet is recommended. To be used under medical supervision.
If your child has a cow's milk allergy, it is important to ensure that there is no cow's milk protein in your child's diet.
Breastfeeding is the best nutrition for babies, even if they have a cow's milk allergy. If the mother eliminates cow's milk and dairy products from her diet, the baby will not ingest these substances through breastfeeding. A dietitian can help the mother to compose a suitable cow's milk-free diet. Sometimes the doctor or dietitian may recommend a diet based on individual amino acids. This diet will then be cow's milk protein-free.
Neocate LCP is completely cow's milk protein-free. The food is made from individual amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. The immune system cannot react to these amino acids because they are too small. The food is made in a cow's milk protein-free environment. Neocate is a complete food for infants from birth to 12 months.
Neocate LCP is a food for medical use. Your doctor or dietitian will recommend Neocate LCP as a dietary food for cow's milk allergy. Neocate LCP is also used for other conditions requiring a free amino acid-based diet.
