Usage
Before using the ear candles, it is important that you read these instructions carefully. How do ear candles work? By allowing the Natura Ear Candles to burn down in your ear to the indicated point, smoke is released into the ear. This smoke circulates deep into the ear canal and releases a beneficial and relaxing warmth there. The pure beeswax soothes the entire ear area. Natura Ear Candles are therefore very suitable for supporting earwax production and activating the immune system. Ear candles can also have a soothing effect on a feeling of pressure in the head. The use of Natura Ear Candles also has a relaxing effect on body and mind. When can ear candles be used? - To support normal earwax production - To activate the immune system - To soothe a feeling of pressure in the head - As an aid for stress and tension - To promote healthy sleep - To stimulate acupuncture points in the ear How often can ear candles be used? - For acute problems, use daily on both ears until improvement occurs, but for a maximum of 7 consecutive days. - For recurring problems and for relaxation, 1-2 times a week. - For prevention or as general cleansing, Natura Ear Candles can be used 1-2 times a month. Supplies for using the ear candles - Attached protective collar - Bowl of water - Matches or ordinary table candle Storage Store the ear candles in their original packaging in a dry place at room temperature. Instructions for use a. Push the Natura Ear Candle with the narrow end through the cross-shaped incisions of the protective collar up to the black line on the ear candle. b. Have the person to be treated lie on their side on a couch or bed. It is important that the person is relaxed. Therefore, ensure a calming atmosphere and a warm treatment room, a small pillow and possibly a blanket if the person is cold. Closing the eyes can also contribute to relaxation. Have the following steps c, d and e performed by an adult. c. Light the Natura Ear Candle at the widest end with a match or ordinary table candle. Place the ear candle with the narrow end in the ear canal of the ear where the person is not lying. Carefully rotate the ear candle a little deeper (maximum 1 centimeter) so that no smoke can escape from the bottom. d. While burning, hold the Natura Ear Candle under the protective collar so that it remains in a vertical position and is held still. Any falling burnt parts are caught by the protective collar. e. When the flame has reached 1 centimeter above the protective collar, remove the ear candle from the ear and extinguish it in the bowl of water. Remove any remaining (harmless) residues of the burned beeswax from the outer, visible part of the ear canal, e.g. with a cotton swab. f. Now have the person lie on the other side and repeat steps a. through e. for the treatment of the other ear. g. After treating both ears, have the person to be treated relax for another 15 minutes on the treatment couch, which will enhance the effect of the treatment.

Warnings
When should ear candles not be used? - During an (acute) ear infection. - With tubes in the ear or a perforated eardrum. - In case of allergy to beeswax. Warning - In case of serious or long-term complaints, consult your doctor. - Always use the supplied protective collar and also check whether the protective filter in the ear candle is intact. - Have an adult light the ear candle for you, hold it while it burns in your ear, remove it and extinguish it. - Always apply the ear candles to both ears, even if there are problems with only one ear. - It is possible that increased earwax secretion may occur after using ear candles. This is the effect of the cleansing action of the ear candles and is temporary. - Use the ear candles only in their original state: do not apply any other substances (such as essential oils) to the ear candles before or during burning. This can have an adverse effect.
