How do Ear Candles work?
By burning the Natura Ear Candles in your ear up to the designated point, smoke is released into the ear. This smoke circulates deep into the ear canal, releasing a soothing and relaxing warmth. The pure beeswax has a soothing effect on the entire ear area. Natura Ear Candles are therefore ideal for supporting earwax production and activating the immune system. Ear Candles can also soothe feelings of pressure in the head. Using Natura Ear Candles also has a relaxing effect on both body and mind.

How often can ear candles be used?
- In case of acute problems, use daily in both ears until improvement occurs, but for a maximum of 7 consecutive days.
- For recurring problems and for relaxation 1-2 times a week.
- As a preventative measure or for general cleaning, Natura Ear Candles can be used 1-2 times a month.

Compound
Natura Ear Candles are made from natural ingredients according to a proven recipe. Environmentally friendly unbleached cotton and pure beeswax ensure consistent quality.

Usage
Press the Natura Ear Candle with the narrow side through the cross-shaped incisions in the protective collar up to the black line on the Ear Candle.
b. Have the person to be treated lie on their side on a couch or bed. It is important that the person is relaxed. Therefore, provide a soothing atmosphere and a warm treatment room, a pillow, and possibly a blanket if the person is cold. Closing your eyes can also contribute to relaxation.
Have an adult perform steps c, d, and e.
c. Light the Natura Ear Candle at the widest end with a match or a regular table candle. Place the narrow end of the Ear Candle in the ear canal of the ear the person is not lying on. Carefully rotate the Ear Candle slightly deeper (maximum 1 centimeter) so that no smoke can escape from the bottom.
d. While the candle is burning, hold it under the protective collar so that it remains vertical and steady. Any falling burnt particles will be caught by the protective collar.
e. When the flame reaches 1 centimeter above the protective collar, remove the ear candle from the ear and extinguish it in the bowl of water. Remove any remaining (harmless) residue of the burnt beeswax from the outer, visible part of the ear canal, e.g., with a cotton swab.
f. Now have the person lie on the other side and repeat steps a. through e. to treat the other ear.
g. After treating both ears, allow the person to be treated to relax on the treatment table for another 15 minutes, this will enhance the effect of the treatment.

Save
Store the ear candles in the original packaging in a dry place at room temperature.

Warnings
When should ear candles not be used?
- During an (acute) ear infection.
- In case of tubes in the ear or a perforated eardrum.
- In case of allergy to beeswax.

Warning and precautions
- In case of serious or persistent complaints, consult your doctor.
- Always use the supplied protective collar and also check that the protective filter in the Ear Candle is intact.
- Have an adult light the Ear Candle for you, hold it in your ear while it burns, remove it, and extinguish it.
- Always apply the Ear Candles to both ears, even if you have problems with only one ear.
- You may experience increased earwax secretion after using ear candles. This is due to the cleansing action of the ear candles and is temporary.
- Use the ear candles only in their original state: do not add any other substances (such as essential oils) to the ear candles before or during burning. This may have an adverse effect.
