Nutritional plan advice Goat's milk formula is a good alternative to cow's milk formula.
Babies aged 6 months and older* need approximately 500-600 ml of breast milk or formula per day. This is only a guideline. Your baby may need more or less than indicated in the table, or may drink different amounts at different times. Always allow your baby to stop feeding when they indicate they are full. The volume of prepared formula is slightly greater than the volume of added water. Add one scoop per 30 ml of water, as indicated in the following table:
Number of level scoops of powder:
Cooled boiled water per feeding:
6
180 ml
* Based on the start of the transition to solid food at 6 months.
Preparation advice Follow the preparation instructions carefully. Incorrect preparation and storage of the product pose health risks. Always wash your hands before preparing food.
1. Wash your hands and sterilize bottles and teats according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Boil fresh water. Do not use artificially softened or previously boiled water. Do not let it cool for more than 30 minutes. Pour the required amount of water (see table) into a sterilized baby bottle.
3. Fill the enclosed measuring scoop loosely with powder and level off. Always add 1 level scoop (4.3 grams) of powder to every 30 ml of water in the bottle.
4. Add the required number of scoops to the boiled and cooled water.
5. Place the sterilized teat and cap on the bottle and shake until the powder is completely dissolved.
6. If necessary, cool the bottle further under cold running water. Check the temperature of the food (lukewarm). Feed immediately after preparation.
Important information Nannycare Follow-on Milk is only suitable for specific feeding purposes for infants over 6 months of age, as part of a varied and healthy diet. It should not be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first six months of life and is also not suitable for infants under 6 months of age. The decision to initiate complementary feeding should be made solely on the advice of independent experts in medicine, nutrition, or pharmacology, or professionals responsible for maternal and child care, based on the specific growth and developmental needs of the individual infant.
Only lactose added. Due to European regulations, it is mandatory to add extra carbohydrates to formulas for children under 1 year of age to meet their energy needs. Nannycare deliberately chooses not to use less beneficial carbohydrates like maltodextrin or glucose syrup, unlike many other formulas, but uses only the more expensive lactose to supplement the natural lactose content of goat's milk.
Storage instructions For hygienic reasons, do not store pre-prepared formula. Prepare a fresh formula each time and always discard leftovers after 2 hours at the latest. The water must be freshly boiled. Do not let it cool for longer than 30 minutes and at least 70°C. Do not heat the formula in the microwave to prevent uneven heating and burns. Do not add extra scoops of powder or other ingredients to the bottle. Store (un)opened cans in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator). Always close the can tightly. Use the contents within 4 weeks of first opening.
