Movigo Laxative

This product is a medical device that helps restore natural regular bowel movements in adults, adolescents, children over 2 years of age and the elderly.
It uses the power of water, with its 3-step formula, by introducing water into the stool to hydrate, soften and restore comfortable, natural, regular bowel movements.
It can be used to relieve stubborn stools and constipation. Because this product softens stools to make your bowel movements more comfortable, it doesn't cause cramping or abdominal pain.
This product is virtually not absorbed by the body and is excreted with the stool during bowel movements.
Its effectiveness does not diminish over time.

What is this medicine used for?
For stubborn stools, irregular bowel movements and constipation

Directions for use
Children from 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg):
1-2 sachets (10 g each) per day, depending on the severity of your stubborn stools or constipation.

Adults & children over 11 years (or over 20 kg): 1 sachet (10 g each) 1-3 times a day, depending on the severity of your stubborn stools or constipation.

If you forget to take a dose, don't take a double dose. Instead, wait and take your next dose at your usual time.

The treatment usually lasts two weeks. It can be repeated if necessary.

Contraindications
Do not take this product if you suffer from:
• Bowel stenosis
• Bowel perforation
• Inflammatory bowel disease (e.g. Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)
• Do not take if you have a blockage in your intestines (intestinal obstruction, ileus)
For patients with renal impairment, no dosage adjustment is necessary. Constipation can be caused by certain medications, including painkillers (opioids) and Parkinson's treatments (anticholinergics).

It can also occur as a result of other diseases, including multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease.

Do not use this product on children under 2 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, only use this product after consulting a doctor. It is recommended not to exceed the recommended dosage, as higher doses may cause unexpected side effects.

Long-term use may be necessary in case of refractory and/or chronic constipation. Do not use for longer than

Do not use if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or to polyethylene glycol. Each sachet is disposable and should only be opened at the time of use.

Ingredients
Each sachet of this product contains 10 g of Macrogol 3350 powder.

Warnings
Overdose
In case of overdose, the following side effects may occur: intense pain, abdominal distension, diarrhea and vomiting which can cause an electrolyte imbalance.
If any side effects occur, contact your doctor immediately.

Drug interactions
To date, there are no known drug interactions. However, if you need to take a medication
while you are also taking this product, take your next dose of this product at least 2 hours after taking
orally taken medicines or other medicines (including homeopathic medicines) or
Dietary supplements. The osmotic effect of macrogol and the increase in gastrointestinal transit speed
can negatively affect the effectiveness of previously taken medicines or supplements.
Consult your doctor before using this product if you are currently taking any other treatments.

Side effects
It is recommended not to increase the proposed dosage, as this may lead to unexpected side effects.
This product may cause mild side effects such as gastrointestinal disturbances, borborygmi (intestinal rumbling),
abdominal pain, nausea, and mild diarrhea (especially at the beginning of treatment). Rare hypersensitivity reactions
(rash, urticaria) may occur. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you experience any side effects, even if your symptoms
are not listed here. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Storage advice
Store this product in a dry place and away from direct heat or light sources: open the pouch at
the moment of use. Do not use if the sachets are damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
Store the device below 25°C.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
The best-before date refers to the product when stored in its intact packaging.

Removal
Expired devices should be disposed of in accordance with local authority waste disposal guidelines.
