The two elastic sides with resealable adhesive strips (one on each side) of MoliCare® Premium Elastic offer benefits for both the patient and the caregiver. For the patient, MoliCare® Premium Elastic with its anatomical fit is comfortable to wear: the elastic sides adapt perfectly to the body, even when moving. It reduces the workload for the caregiver with a time saving of approximately 20%, as fewer steps are required: 4 instead of 8.

MoliCare® Premium Elastic offers a unique form of skin protection for incontinence. The skin's natural, protective acid mantle (pH 5.5) is maintained, which reduces the likelihood of skin irritation and bacterial growth. The top layer of the absorbent pad uses ‘Curly Fibre’, a specially developed, spiral-shaped cellulose fibre. The ‘Curly Fibre’ creates an acidic environment on the surface and ensures optimal distribution of urine in the absorbent core. When wet, this ‘Curly Fibre’ retains its structure and allows the fluid to circulate. The ‘Curly Fibre’ does not absorb the fluid, keeping the surface of the incontinence product dry. The fluid is immediately distributed to the inner part of the absorbent pad where it is retained. In addition, it guarantees a dry feeling through powerful and rapid absorption and leakage protection, and unpleasant odours are neutralised.

Usage
Incontinence brief for very severe urinary and/or faecal incontinence. Suitable for mobile, bedridden as well as restless individuals.

Instructions for use
For recumbent patients Determine the correct size Unfold the brief lengthwise Turn the patient on their side Place the brief between the legs and fold well around the upper hip. Turn the patient onto their back and secure the other side with the adhesive strip. Standing patient: Choose the correct size brief. Unfold the brief and place it lengthwise between the legs. Place the back part well on the back and secure the sides with the adhesive strip.
