The foundation of every Minami product is high-quality omega-3 fatty acids (from fish oil or algae). Minami uses a patented, environmentally friendly production method (supercritical CO2 extraction) to achieve this. This results in very high omega-3 doses and unparalleled purity. Supercritical CO2 extraction takes place at lower temperatures. This is crucial for preserving the beneficial properties of the delicate unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids. Furthermore, CO2 extraction does not use chemical solvents, which could otherwise remain in the oil. Minami products are known for their exceptionally high quality and purity. Purity is analyzed by external laboratories during each production run. This care is especially crucial for fish oil, as fish can unfortunately contain contaminants due to seawater pollution.
- DHA ingested by the mother supports the normal development of the eyes and brain of the fetus and breastfed infant. The beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental intake of at least 200 mg of DHA by the mother in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
