Directions for use
Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the instrument. All symbols on the display will appear briefly, and a beep will sound, followed by the last measured temperature value. If the temperature is below 32°C (90°F), the LCD display will show "Lo," and if the temperature is above 42.9°C (109.9°F), the display will show "Hi." ORAL MEASUREMENT:
Place the thermometer's sensor tip under your tongue and close your mouth. Breathe through your nose during the measurement to avoid inaccurate readings.
RECTAL MEASUREMENT:
Many patients find rectal measurement uncomfortable, but it does provide accurate results. Carefully insert the sensor tip approximately 1 cm deep into the rectum to quickly and reliably determine body temperature.
MEASUREMENT UNDER THE ARMPITS:
Before measuring, clean your armpit. Place the thermometer's measuring end under your armpit. Move your arm downward, keeping it gently pressed against your body throughout the measurement.

The thermometer contains small parts (batteries, etc.) that could be swallowed by children. Therefore, keep the batteries and the thermometer out of reach of small children. If a battery or other part is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately. The included batteries must not be charged or reactivated by other means, taken apart, thrown into fire, or short-circuited. Do not drop the thermometer and do not open it (except the battery compartment) to replace the batteries.
