For breastfeeding when latching on is difficult or painful or if you have flat or inverted nipples.

Choosing the right size nipple shield: When choosing the right size nipple shield, both the mother and the baby should be considered. For the mother: the nipple shield should fit comfortably and not pinch.
For premature babies: When the baby latches on to the nipple shield, he or she should be able to touch the flat base of the nipple shield with his or her lips as it rests on the breast.

Directions for use
- Wash your hands thoroughly with drinking-quality water and soap before touching the nipple shield and breast.
- Dry your hands with a clean, unused towel or a disposable paper towel.
- Clean the breast and the surrounding skin with a damp cloth.
- Do not use soap or alcohol, as these can dry out the skin and cause cracked nipples.
- Moisten the nipple shield with water so that it adheres better to the skin.
- Push the tip almost inside out and grab the wings of the nipple shield.
- Place the nipple shield with the nipple in the center.
- The open part should point towards the baby's nose during feeding.
