Vegan Vitamin D3 Oil is derived from lichen, a type of moss with high vitamin D3 levels. Clothing and sunscreen, among other things, hinder the body's ability to produce vitamin D3. Many people, especially children and the elderly, can therefore develop a vitamin D3 deficiency. Vitamin D3 is found in oily fish, among other foods.
Vitamin D3 contributes to the absorption of calcium and thus stimulates the growth and development of bones.
