Mattisson Organic Guar Bean Fiber Sunfiber® is derived from the endosperm of the guar plant in India. The Latin name for the guar plant is Cyamopsis tetragonoloba. Guar beans are a rich source of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber is also called prebiotics. Prebiotics reach the large intestine undigested, where bacteria ferment them into short-chain fatty acids (acetate, butyrate, and propionate). These fatty acids serve as an energy source for the intestinal epithelium, among other things. Fermentable fibers include fibers from vegetables, fruit, potatoes, and legumes.

Usage
Take 1-2 capsules 1-3 times a day with a glass of water or as prescribed by your therapist or doctor.
