Mattisson mushroom latte is a blend of reishi and Lion's Mane mushrooms, with cocoa and Ceylon cinnamon added for flavor.



Reishi

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is a mushroom that has been used in Asia for over 2,000 years. Ganoderma Lucidum is its Latin name and means 'shiny skin.' In China, this mushroom is also known as "the Herb of Spiritual Potency." Reishi grows as a parasite on deciduous trees but can also grow on dead tree trunks. The color of Reishi is red, and its luster makes it look as if it has a layer of varnish.

This powder consists of 100% fruiting body of finely ground Reishi mushroom. Solid oak wood is used as a substrate.



Lion's Mane

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus), also known as the bearded tooth mushroom, is a unique mushroom naturally found in Asia, Europe, and North America. This white mushroom has a striking appearance resembling a lion's mane, hence its name.

Lion's Mane has been valued for centuries in traditional Asian cuisine and culture, known for its soft, mild flavor and versatile applications. Nowadays, this mushroom is often dried and processed into powder or capsules, making it easy to add to smoothies, hot beverages, or dishes.



Cacao & Ceylon Cinnamon

The addition of Cacao gives the latte a chocolate flavor. Ceylon Cinnamon is known for its fine, mild taste and delightful aroma.

Usage
Per glass (200 ml): dissolve 2 teaspoons (6 g) of powder and optionally 1 teaspoon of (coconut) oil in a little warm water or (plant-based) milk. Add remaining hot liquid. For a creamier effect, blend with a blender. This product is not a substitute for a varied diet.
