What is lactoferrin?
Lactoferrin is a naturally occurring iron-binding protein found in the body's mucous membranes, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract. The word "lacto" refers to its richest source: milk. "Ferrin" refers to lactoferrin's important ability to bind to iron.

Mattisson lactoferrin capsules
Mattisson lactoferrin is 95% pure and packaged in enteric-coated capsules that only open in the intestines. This guarantees the preservation of its effectiveness. This product is free of LPS (lipopolysaccharide). LPS is a substance that occurs naturally in lactoferrin but reduces the protein's effectiveness.
This supplement contains 500 mg lactoferrin per capsule, but for lighter needs you can also opt for our 300 mg variant.
