Dried Celtic sea salt Celtic sea salt is harvested by hand using a traditional Celtic method, over 2,000 years old, in the Guérande region of Brittany, France. Of all available salts, Celtic sea salt has the lowest sodium content, at 89.7%. This makes Celtic sea salt softer and gentler than other salts.
Celtic sea salt has a gray color because it mixes with various clay minerals. This makes Celtic sea salt richer in minerals than other forms of salt. Because the salt is not washed, all the minerals are retained. The clay bogs also ensure that Celtic sea salt is naturally purified and therefore contaminant-free.
What is dried Celtic sea salt?
Unlike regular Celtic sea salt, this variety is dried and then sieved to a fine 5mm. The salt is dried at a low temperature, which preserves its composition.

Suitable for making sole
Sole is a mineral-rich drink made from Celtic sea salt and water that is consumed to replenish mineral deficiencies.
The advantage of 'natural' unrefined salt is that you need much less of it than with 'normal' table salt, as the flavour is much more pronounced.
