Luvos® Healing Earth is an earthy, yellowish powder obtained from all-natural loess. This was formed during the last ice age and is extracted in Germany in our own mining operations. Luvos® Healing Earth contains no chemical additives such as colourings, fragrances or preservatives and is vegan. The loess consists of minerals: predominantly silicate, feldspar, three-layer clay minerals, calcite, dolomite and goethite. Luvos® Healing Earth microfine has special binding properties and a catalytic effect. The loess is carefully dried at 130 °C using the most advanced technology to kill germs. After this, the loess is ground and sieved to obtain the application-specific particle size for the desired therapeutic effect.
Luvos® Healing Earth microfine is used as a mineral binder (adsorbent) for binding cholesterol and fats from food. This has been demonstrated by in-vitro studies.
