Lucovitaal WLS multi-minerals
Lucovitaal has developed a high-dose multivitamin and mineral supplement specifically for use after gastric bypass surgery (WLS stands for Weight Loss Surgery). After gastric bypass surgery, people eat less and are more likely to have dietary deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals. Nutrients are also less well absorbed by the body because a gastric bypass bypasses part of the small intestine.
Vitamin B11 (Folic acid)
Folic acid contributes to normal cell division, supports the immune system, contributes to resistance to stress and can help reduce lack of energy.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 supports energy levels, is good for memory, concentration and the nervous system.
Vitamin D3
Vitamin D3 is good for maintaining strong bones and increases calcium absorption in the bones, contributes to strong teeth and is good for muscle function.
Iron
Iron supports the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, plays an important role in mental exertion and activity and contributes to efficient oxygen transport in the body.
Zinc
