The Health Council recommends a daily intake of 10 mcg of vitamin D3 for people with dark skin, people who don't spend enough time outdoors, pregnant women, and women aged 50 and over. For those aged 70 and over, 20 mcg of vitamin D3 is recommended.
Vitamin K2 contributes to normal blood clotting, the maintenance of strong bones and is important for the absorption of calcium in the bones/bone tissue.
Vitamin D3 increases the absorption of calcium in the bones, supports the bones and the immune system, contributes to strong teeth, helps to maintain good resistance and is good for the muscles.
