Lucovitaal Anti-itch cream
Lucovitaal® Anti-Itch Cream is a medical device for the treatment of chronic (extremely) dry skin conditions (xerosis). It provides relief from dryness, itching, and chapped or red, irritated skin. Natural Olus oil is a plant-based alternative to Vaseline, with a greasy and moisture-retaining effect, but it does not seal the skin. It prevents dehydration, moisturizes, and softens the skin. Dry skin is often accompanied by itching. Lucovitaal® Anti-Itch Cream treats, provides relief, and soothes the skin.
Its protective properties contribute to the repair of the skin barrier and improved barrier function, and provide physical protection against irritants and allergens. The product contains five active ingredients: glycerin, olus (vegetable) oil, dimethicone, propylene glycol, and ceramide NP. Olus oil (an alternative to Vaseline) and dimethicone work by forming a hydrophobic and oil-repellent layer on the skin's surface, creating an external barrier against moisture loss. Glycerin and propylene glycol increase skin moisture by improving water absorption from the dermis to the epidermis. Ceramides form lipids to retain moisture and keep the skin supple.

Directions for use
Lucovitaal® Anti-Itch Cream is intended for external use by adults and children aged 2 years and older. Apply the cream to dry or itchy skin two to three times a day. Anti-Itch Cream can be used to treat dry or itchy skin, but also as a complementary therapy in combination with other common therapies, including corticosteroid ointments. No interactions are known.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to one or more of the ingredients of this product.
