The crystal-clear water of Lifjalla originates from the meltwater of the Langjokull glacier, which seeps through the ancient basalt layers of the pristine volcanic region and then reappears decades later on the surface in Hafnarfjordur.

The Bag-in-Box maintains the oxygen level of Lifjalla water, ensuring that Lifjalla's original taste is preserved for a year. In addition, this packaging does not leach BPA's (Bisphenol A) into the water. This does happen with many PET bottles.
