Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic and porous surgical tape based on a white non-woven polyester/viscose film.
The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is well tolerated even by patients with very sensitive skin. Leukopor surgical tapes are therefore the excellent choice for babies and the elderly. Leukopor is air and water vapor permeable.
Leukopor can be removed from the skin painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue. Leukopor can also be removed from hairy skin almost painlessly if this is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. Leukopor is easy to tear by hand and can also be easily molded to moving body parts. Leukopor provides reliable fixation, even for longer periods. The tape can be written on well with a pen or marker and is water repellent.
