Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting your JOIK candle. This will cause the wick to smoke. If you don't trim the wick, the flame may become too large and the wick may produce smoke. Burning a candle under these conditions can be dangerous and also compromises the quality of the candle-burning experience. If you see the flame becoming too large or smoking, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight it.
Warnings
Do not burn the candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and away from objects that can catch fire. Always keep a candle out of the reach of children and pets. Do not burn candles in drafty places. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
