Usage
In China, astragalus root is often cooked as a food and used in soups or rice dishes. Boil 2 teaspoons of ground herb in a cup of water for 15 minutes. Or make a tea and let it steep covered for about 30 minutes. Add almond milk and honey to taste, if desired.
Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use if you have an acute skin condition with heat and redness. Do not use during an acute infection unless prescribed by a doctor. Consult a doctor, therapist, or specialist before using plants during pregnancy, breastfeeding, while taking medication, or during illness.
