HG X fruit fly trap
HgX fruit fly trap.
Fruit flies can be a real nuisance, especially during the summer months. At this time of year, food scraps or ripening fruit are very attractive to these annoying and rapidly reproducing creatures. The HgX fruit fly trap offers an effective solution thanks to its decorative and effective pear-shaped design. Once the fruit flies are in the custard, they can no longer reproduce.

Compound
Pear-shaped trap

Usage
Step 1: Unscrew the top section of the trap.
Step 2: Then remove the funnel from the bottom part and dispense approximately 5 ml (up to the line) of the supplied trap fluid into the trap and place the funnel back with the spout pointing downwards.
Step 3: Open the top of the trap by pulling the lid with the leaf slightly upwards, without removing it completely.
Step 4: Now tighten the top section back to the bottom section.
Step 5: Finally, place the trap in a location where fruit flies are likely to fly, such as near a fruit bowl.
Step 6: Change the trap fluid at least once every two weeks. Used fluid can simply be flushed down the sink.
Depending on the conditions, 5 ml of liquid is sufficient for two weeks. Do not spill on acid-sensitive or calcareous surfaces such as marble, Belgian bluestone, etc.

Warnings
