Want to waterproof synthetic textiles? HG Waterproof 100% Synthetic Textile is specially developed to make polyamide, polyester, nylon, and other 100% synthetic textiles water- and dirt-repellent. This product is therefore ideal for making ski and rainwear, as well as garden furniture covers, water- and dirt-repellent.
Usage
Follow the steps below to use HG waterproof 100% synthetic textile:
Instructions for use for the hand washing method:
1. The garment to be treated must be clean and dry.
2. Fill a bucket, basin or sink with approximately 6 litres of lukewarm water.
3. Dose 100 ml of product for every kilo of laundry.
4. Then immerse the garment in this solution and turn it regularly for 15 minutes.
5. Then rinse with cold water.
6. The effect of this product is enhanced by heat, so it is best to iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry it in a tumble dryer.
7. However, first check the fabric's washing instructions to see if this is permitted. Otherwise, let it dry on a clothesline.
Instructions for use of the washing machine:
1. The clothing to be treated must be clean and dry.
2. Make sure the washing machine is not completely full, as the laundry must be able to move freely in the drum.
3. The washing machine's detergent compartment should be completely free of detergent residue. Therefore, clean it first if necessary. Detergent disrupts the effectiveness of HG waterproof 100% synthetic textiles.
4. Select the colored wash program (without pre-wash) or, if the fabric's care instructions indicate this, the delicate or wool wash program (without pre-wash). Do not add detergent or fabric softener. The temperature depends on the fabric's care instructions, but should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
5. Start the washing machine and, after about 15 seconds, add 100 ml of product for every kilogram of fabric to the running water via the detergent dispenser. (Do not use the product in a wash ball.)
6. Complete the wash cycle. The effectiveness of this product is enhanced by heat. Therefore, it is best to iron the fabric before it is completely dry or dry it in a dryer. However, first consult the fabric's care instructions to determine whether this is permitted. Otherwise, line-dry.
