HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool, and mixed textiles is suitable for children's clothing, rainwear, jeans, furniture covers, garden furniture covers, and tablecloths, among other things.
Usage
There are several methods to make textiles waterproof and dirt-repellent:
How to Waterproof Cotton Using the Hand Wash Method:
1. Make sure the clothing to be treated is clean and dry.
2. Put 6 litres of water in a bucket and add the entire bottle of HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool and mixed textiles.
3. Place the clothing to be treated in the bucket and turn it regularly for 15 minutes.
4. After this, rinse the clothes with cold water, hang them up and let them dry.
5. Iron clothing before it is completely dry, as this enhances the effectiveness of HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool and mixed textiles.
How to make cotton waterproof using the washing machine:
1. Make sure the clothing to be treated is clean and dry.
2. The washing machine's soap dispenser must be completely free of detergent residue. Therefore, clean the dispenser first if necessary. Detergent disrupts the effectiveness of HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool, and mixed textiles.
3. Set the color wash program to 40°C without pre-wash and do not add fabric softener.
4. Start the program and after about 15 seconds add the entire contents of the bottle to the running water via the detergent dispenser.
5. Allow the program to complete and let the clothes dry as usual.
6. Iron clothing before it is completely dry, as this enhances the effectiveness of HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool, and mixed textiles.
