Support winding Ideal
A HeltiQ Support Bandage Ideal is highly elastic lengthwise (not widthwise) thanks to its composition and special weaving method, making it ideal for use on moving parts of the body. The bandage fits snugly, stays securely in place, and doesn't sag.
With a Steunbandsel Ideaal (Ideal Support Bandage), you can apply a support or compression bandage. A support bandage provides support and stability to muscles and joints in the event of sprains, strains, bruises, and other injuries. It also promotes good blood circulation. The bandage can also be used to apply a compression bandage to a heavily bleeding wound.
A support bandage is often applied preventatively during sports. It also provides comfortable support for varicose veins.

What is this medicine used for?
While playing sports, falling, or jumping awkwardly, it's easy to land wrong. The consequences can be harmless, but a serious bruise or sprain is not unthinkable. It's a nasty injury where quick action is crucial to reduce the worst of the swelling and pain.
Directions for use
A Steunbandsel Ideaal (Ideal Support Bandage) is part of a support or compression bandage. Such a bandage is used for a bruise, sprain, or even severe bleeding.
In the case of a bruise or sprain, swelling, bruising, pain, and inability to use the body part are often present. Apply a pressure bandage made of synthetic cotton wool (or greasy cotton wool) and a support bandage. This is ideal for distributing the pressure and reducing swelling.
Apply several layers of synthetic or greasy cotton wool well around the injury site. Ensure the cotton wool is evenly distributed.
Start the Support Bandage Ideally at the edge of the cotton wool, the cotton wool should still be sticking out.
Wrap the bandage as much as possible like an overlapping tile, with the turns partially overlapping. Pull the bandage slightly, but not too tight.
Apply the final stroke all the way around, but again allow the cotton wool to protrude slightly.
Contraindications
Promotes blood circulation and counteracts swelling.

Warnings
Don't apply the bandage too tightly, as this will constrict. You can recognize a bandage that is too tight by:
- Discoloration of the protruding parts
- Worsening of pain
- Tingling or numbness in the protruding parts
- Less able to move the protruding parts
