A HeltiQ Underlay is used to collect blood and amniotic fluid during a home birth. You can also use the underlay after delivery if there's any postpartum bleeding. If you don't use the underlays, they can still be useful for incontinence, vomiting, heavy periods, or bedwetting during toilet training.

Usage
At delivery:
Place a Heltiq mattress protector between the mattress and the fitted sheet
Place the Heltiq underlay on top of the Heltiq mattress protector with the diamond shape under the buttocks.

In case of bedwetting, incontinence or heavy menstruation:
Place a Heltiq underlay between the mattress and the fitted sheet with the diamond shape under the buttocks.
