What is this medicine used for?
HeltiQ Honey Wound Plaster is a hydroactive hydrogel plaster made with 30% medicinal honey. This honey wound plaster helps promote the natural healing of minor chronic wounds such as pressure sores, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers. It also promotes the natural healing of minor acute wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions, and superficial first- and second-degree burns. HeltiQ Honey Wound Plaster creates a moist wound environment that promotes wound healing. It prevents infection, reduces pain, and reduces the risk of scarring. It can also be used in the shower or bath.

Directions for use
Burn
1. COOLING
Cool a 1st or 2nd degree burn with HeltiQ Burn Gel or a HeltiQ Burn Compress.
Caution! Always consult a doctor for large and deep second-degree burns.
2. COVER
Cover a 1st or 2nd degree burn with the honey wound plaster

Surgical wound
CLEAN
Clean the skin around the surgical wound with a HeltiQ Wound Cleansing Wipe. Pat dry with a sterile HeltiQ Gauze Compress.
COVER
Cover the surgical wound with the honey wound plaster.

Chronic wound
CLEAN
Cleanse the chronic wound with HeltiQ Wound & Eye Spray. Pat dry with a sterile HeltiQ Gauze Compress.
