Usage
HeltiQ Honey Wound Gel consists of 40% medicinal honey and has been proven effective in the natural healing of chronic wounds such as bedsores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and wounds caused by a tumour or metastasis or their treatment. The gel can also be used for superficial and acute wounds such as cuts, abrasions, surgical wounds and burns (1st and 2nd degree) and donor sites for skin grafts. HeltiQ Honey Wound Gel creates a moist wound environment, which improves wound healing. The honey wound gel prevents infections, reduces pain and the chance of scarring. After applying the honey wound gel, cover the wound with a wound plaster, wound dressing or non-adherent wound compress.

Directions for use
Burn COOL DOWN Cool a 1st or 2nd degree burn with HeltiQ Burn Gel or a HeltiQ Burn Compress. Please note! Always consult a doctor for large and deep 2nd degree burns. COVER Apply the honey wound gel to a 1st or 2nd degree burn and cover it with a HeltiQ Island Plaster. For showering, use the HeltiQ Waterproof Island Plaster. Surgical wound CLEANING Clean the skin around the surgical wound with a HeltiQ Wound Cleaning Wipe. Dab dry with a sterile HeltiQ Gauze Compress. COVER Apply the honey wound gel to the surgical wound and cover it with a HeltiQ Island Plaster. For showering, use the HeltiQ Waterproof Island Plaster. Chronic wound CLEANING Clean the chronic wound with HeltiQ Wound & Eye Spray. Dab dry with a sterile HeltiQ Gauze Compress. COVER Apply the honey wound gel to the chronic wound and cover it with a HeltiQ Non-Adherent Wound Compress. COVER Fix it with a HeltiQ Net Bandage Medical device.
