Heltiq Gauze pads 10 x 10cm

HeltiQ Gauze pads are woven sterile gauze or compress suitable for both cleaning and covering dry or moist wounds. Dry wounds are closed wounds covered with a scab. Moist wounds are open wounds with wound fluid. For cleaning your wound, use the HeltiQ Gauze pad in combination with a wound disinfectant. Discard the gauze pad after cleaning and use a new gauze pad to cover the wound.
HeltiQ Gauze pads are made of 100% cotton and have a fine structure, making them extremely suitable for absorbing a large amount of wound fluid.
Furthermore, the compress is comfortable and soft, does not fray, and maintains its shape well. The HeltiQ Gauze pad therefore does not cause skin irritation.

The HeltiQ Gauze pad is a sterile product. Because you place the gauze pad sterilely directly from the packaging onto the wound, it offers initial protection against dirt, moisture, and bacteria. After placing the gauze pad, bandage the wound with a HeltiQ Elastic Fixation Bandage, a HeltiQ Self-Adhesive Bandage, or a HeltiQ Cambric Bandage. Secure the bandage with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster.
- For cleaning and covering dry and wet wounds
- Does not irritate
- Individually sterilely packaged

Instructions for use
The gauze pad can be applied directly to the clean wound after cleaning to absorb wound fluid (if it is a moist wound) and protect the wound: The gauze pad can be applied directly to the clean wound after cleaning to absorb wound fluid (if it is a moist wound) and protect the wound: Cleanse and disinfect the wound with a wound disinfectant. You can use a gauze pad to apply this disinfectant. Remove the gauze pad from the packaging only at the last moment to keep it sterile. (Follow the instructions on the packaging). Hold the gauze pad by a small corner between your thumb and forefinger or use tweezers. Cover the wound with the gauze pad. Then bandage with a self-adhesive bandage or an elastic fixation bandage and secure it with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster. TIP Use a HeltiQ Ointment Gauze Pad in combination with the HeltiQ Gauze Pad for abrasions and minor burns. Rinse the abrasion with gently running water. Remove any large dirt particles with tweezers. Then dab the area around the wound clean and dry with a sterile HeltiQ Gauze Pad. You can stop the bleeding using HeltiQ Blood Stop Spray. Then cover the abrasion with a HeltiQ Ointment Gauze Pad, bandage the whole with a HeltiQ Elastic Fixation Bandage, and secure with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster. The healing ointment in the ointment gauze pad prevents sticking to the wound. This property reduces and soothes pain and reduces the chance of scarring. Aftercare To remove the gauze pad, you can very carefully pull it off. If the gauze pad sticks to the wound or skin, you can try soaking it off with lukewarm water. Regularly check the wound, gauze pad, and bandage for leakage or drying out (adhesion of the gauze pad to the wound). Change the bandage daily or several times a day if necessary.
