What is this medicine used for?
The HeltiQ Elastic Fixation Bandage is designed to secure a HeltiQ Gauze Compress and/or a HeltiQ Ointment Gauze Compress. Its elasticity allows for a high degree of freedom of movement, making it ideal for use on moving parts of the body.

4 m x 6 cm, suitable for scrapes, cuts and burns on:
Body part Children: forearm/leg/ankle/elbow
Body part Adults: hand/foot/wrist

Directions for use
Wrap the elastic fixation bandage as much as possible in an overlapping pattern, with the wraps partially overlapping. Pull the bandage only lightly to avoid pinching.

When bandaging, work as much as possible from narrow body parts to wider body parts, for example from the ankle towards the calf.

Contraindications
An elastic fixation bandage is not intended for applying a support or pressure bandage.
For this you need to use a HeltiQ Windsel Cambric or a HeltiQ Steunwindsel Ideaal.

Warnings
Do not apply the bandage too tightly, as this will constrict.
You can recognise a bandage that has been applied too tightly by:
- Discoloration of the protruding parts
- Worsening of pain
- Tingling or numbness in the protruding parts
- Less able to move the protruding parts

Storage advice
Store in a dry place in the original packaging.
