Palo Santo (Holy Wood) is used just like incense. This 100% pure wood has a wonderful and sweet scent when lit. Only fallen wood is used. Palo Santo is used in South America in rituals and to remove negative energy, but also simply because it smells wonderful. This Holy Wood from the Andes region is harvested locally with respect for nature and according to Fair Trade principles. Only branches that fall naturally from the trees are used. The wood then matures for 4-10 years before its magical scent is released.
Use
Usage: light the Palo Santo and let it burn for a short while. Then blow on it so that the wood glows (like charcoal). The wood glows for a short time, but that is usually sufficient for the pleasant scent. This is in contrast to incense that burns continuously. Weight approx. 25 grams Light in a safe place, out of reach of children
Warnings
Please note: An incense stick/cone/palo santo wood can be lit with a match or a lighter; then you must blow out the flame. Always be careful with fire. Therefore, always place the stick/cone in an incense holder where the stick/cone stands firmly and which catches the ash properly. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep out of reach of children. Extinguish the incense when you leave the room.
