Use
Hansaplast Aqua Protect XL/XXL plasters are sterile plasters for 100% waterproof protection of larger and post-operative wounds.
Instructions for use
1. CleanCleaning the wound and removing dirt and bacteria is an essential first step for optimal wound healing. To reduce the risk of infection, spray Hansaplast Wound Spray from a distance of approximately 10 cm over the entire wound area. Repeat if necessary, then carefully dry the wound and surrounding area with a sterile compress. The spray can also be used for chronic wounds and post-operative wound care according to your doctor's instructions. Hansaplast Wound Spray also helps to remove scabs or clots.Important: A small wound stops bleeding quickly. If it continues to bleed, apply more gauze, apply pressure to the wound, and seek medical help.2. ProtectNext, it is important to protect the wound from external influences such as dirt and bacteria to allow undisturbed wound healing. Cover the wound with the sterile Hansaplast plaster that best suits your needs. Continue to check the wound and change the plaster or dressing regularly unless your doctor recommends otherwise. Perhaps this article on plaster knowledge is helpful. Apply the sterile Hansaplast plaster to the skin without stretching or creasing. Press the plaster firmly. See also the illustrations below. If it is a post-operative wound, this article on post-operative wound healing may be helpful.3. HealHelp the wound heal safely, quickly, and with a lower risk of scarring. Apply Hansaplast Wound Healing Ointment regularly until the wound is completely healed. Gently apply a thin layer once or twice a day. Make sure the opening of the tube does not come into contact with the wound. Repeat regularly until the wound is completely healed. Hansaplast Wound Healing Ointment can be used on small, superficial open wounds at any stage of the healing process. If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster, dressing, or compress. This step is optional for post-operative wounds and only when the wound is completely healed.
