Usage Horses and ponies: 30 drops twice a day through the feed.
During recovery periods and as part of our Bowel Protocol, we recommend administering the above dosage once daily.
Unless the veterinarian or therapist prescribes otherwise.
20 drops = 1 ml
To get the animal used to the product, it is recommended to start with 1/3 of the instructions described above and build up to the recommended amount over a week.
In sensitive animals or in case of severe reactions, it is advisable to use a lower amount than usual, unless the veterinarian or therapist advises otherwise.
Use as a 6-week treatment. Depending on the results, the treatment can be extended. After each 6-week period, take a week off.
Storage instructions Do not administer if you have stomach ulcers, gallstones, bile duct obstruction, cancer, autoimmune disorders, or organ transplants. Use during pregnancy and lactation only after consulting with your veterinarian or therapist. Do not administer this product to weakened or very ill animals.
Cleansing takes a lot of energy! When the body is already under extra strain (for example, due to illness), a drainage treatment can be too strenuous. This can even hinder recovery.
This also applies to surgeries: do not administer Drainage Compositum immediately before surgery, but wait until the animal has recovered from the procedure. Only administer the product after the animal has had time to recover its baseline energy. Drainage Compositum can then help eliminate the excess fiber from the anesthesia.
Due to its cleansing effect through the liver, it is theoretically possible that medications metabolized by the liver may be less effective or may be affected differently. Consult your veterinarian regarding the use of Drainage Compositum in conjunction with medications.
Details: During the use of Drainage Compositum, waste products are released and removed by the excretory organs. These waste products are then transported through the blood. The amount of waste products in the blood will temporarily increase due to the use of Drainage Compositum. This can cause a feeling of fatigue and may make animals somewhat lethargic.
Drainage Compositum may sometimes initially cause a slight worsening of existing symptoms. This potential worsening should never be so severe that the animal becomes seriously ill. By gradually increasing the dosage (see instructions), you can minimize initial worsening of symptoms. If such symptoms persist for more than 3 to 4 weeks (any initial worsening usually lasts about 2 weeks), it is advisable to contact your veterinarian or therapist.
Drainage Compositum poses no risk to the microchips that many pets carry. Occasionally, stories circulate that a cleansing treatment would remove all foreign matter, including the chip. This is not the case. In earlier years, when a different type of chip was used and people weren't as adept at inserting them correctly, it was common for a chip to "wander" through the body. However, this is not the case with Drainage Compositum.
Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
