Geratherm Oxy one saturation meter

The Geratherm® OXY ONE SATURATION meter uses red and infrared light to determine blood oxygen. A finger inserted into the device emits light through the finger from below. The sensor on the other end measures how much light has escaped and uses this to calculate oxygen saturation.

What's behind it?
Oxygen-rich blood can absorb more infrared light than oxygen-poor blood. So, if less light reaches the sensor, the blood is oxygen-rich.

In addition, our algorithm excludes noise in the tissue from the calculation and therefore gives you a reliable result, even outside of a doctor's appointment.

Directions for use
Who can use the pulse oximeter?
The Geratherm® oxy one is suitable for measurements on the fingers of adults.
The thickness of a finger should be between 8 and 25.4 mm.
To take a measurement, place your finger in the center of the sensor. Make sure your fingernail is pointing upward. Do not move yourself or your finger during the measurement.
This may lead to errors in the measurement.
The measurement may be affected by false nails or nail polish, excessive light, moisture in the device or by
poor pulse quality.

It should not be used on injured fingers. Furthermore, it should not be used to measure oxygen levels if you have low blood pressure.

- Do not use if you have low blood pressure
