The harsh conditions during fishing near Iceland made working for the Fleetwood fishermen a true torment. Concerned about their plight, pharmacist James Lofthouse developed these unique lozenges in 1865. To this day, all Fisherman's Friend products are still made by the Lofthouse Family in Fleetwood.

Sweeteners: sorbitol, sucralose, acesulfame K; liquorice root extract, salmiac salt, flavourings, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.
