What is this medicine used for?
Treatment of nail fungus (onychomycosis), mild to moderate nail fungus.

Directions for use
Apply Excilor® FORTE once a day, preferably after showering. Clean the nail and completely remove any nail polish before application.
Use the brush to cover the entire nail surface. Apply a generous amount of Excilor® Forte.
Let the nail dry. This will take 3-5 minutes. The bottle may contain small clumps of dried residue.

The product is white but dries clear. Once dry, you'll feel a rubbery layer on the nail. This rubbery feeling diminishes over time. For optimal effect, it's recommended to wait a little while before putting on socks or shoes (up to 5 minutes). A tingling sensation under the nail after application is normal and indicates that the product has fully penetrated the nail.

After 24 hours, remove the layer. This is best done by peeling off a section from the side of the nail. Continue rolling the layer until it is completely removed from the nail. This is easier with warm water or in the shower. Then apply a new layer as described above. Wash your hands after applying the new layer. For best results, treat the nail for at least 3 months.
Continue treatment until the nail has completely healed. Close the bottle cap tightly after each use.
Use to prevent evaporation. A film may form on the edge of the bottle.

Ingredients
Water, polyurethane, acetic acid, peppermint oil, octlyl gallate, polysorbate 80, dehydroacetic acid, cetyl acetate, acetylated lanolin alcohols, preservative, biotin.

Warnings
External use only.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.
Apply to the nail only, avoid contact with skin.
Avoid all contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact with eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water.
No clinical data are available for use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Diabetics with foot problems should consult their doctor regularly.
Do not use after the expiry date.

Side effects
Very rare (1 case in 100,000):
- Burning sensation, itching or mild, local pain.
Stop treatment and consult your pharmacist or doctor if symptoms worsen.

Storage advice
Store at room temperature (5-25 °C) and keep away from heat or sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Keep the bottle tightly closed.
