When you buy directly from us, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience. Do you experience pain under your foot when walking? Some people describe it as a sensation of warmth, others say it feels like stepping on nails with their forefoot, while still others have the impression of a burn… Some remove calluses or corns from under their foot. Regardless of the description, it is often synonymous with intense pain that hinders walking. This pain under the foot usually corresponds to a deterioration of the plantar fat pad, fatty tissue that serves to distribute pressure. Its deterioration can be due to age, but also to high stress on the forefoot (due to previous sports activity) or prolonged standing. To compensate for the deterioration of the plantar fat pad, EPITACT® has developed a silicone gel that distributes pressure, a true replacement for the plantar fat pad: Epithelium 26®. It has been integrated into a metatarsal cushion so that it can be discreetly worn in any shoe.
- Epithelium 26® under the forefoot is the ideal material to distribute the load and thus the pressure from the arch of the foot. Its presence in the cushions gives you a truly comfortable feeling.
- The metatarsal cushions stay very well in place under the foot. They are discreet, thin, and you can wear them in your shoes.
Use
Prevent and relieve pain under the forefoot: aging of the sole, burning sensation, calluses, etc.
Instructions for use
• Apply to the skin on both feet. • The printed side of the fabric must be in contact with the sole of the foot. Do not turn inside out. • Slide your foot into the cushion, placing the securing tab between your big toe and second toe. • For optimal securement, do not wear barefoot but with a stocking, pantyhose, or socks over them.
