Hallux valgus is a deformity of the big toe, in the direction of the other toes. The head of the first metatarsal bone protrudes further from the foot: an internal exostosis, or a bunion, develops.
This deformity affects 5 to 10% of the population and can be particularly debilitating.
- Positions the big toe correctly.
- The external band also reduces pressure on the exostosis (bunion) to relieve pain.
- The ultra-thin fixation band around the midfoot and the supportive Epithelium cushion prevent the forefoot from dropping and spreading sideways.

Usage
Wearing the dual corrective Epitact daytime orthosis during the day corrects hallux valgus and prevents it from worsening. The orthosis helps relieve joint pain and discomfort during the day.

Instructions for use
The corrective orthosis can be used in all types of shoes, has a flexible and extremely thin, patented design, and features EPITHELIUM™ FLEX technology. Unlike rigid orthoses, the action of this model addresses all factors that worsen the deformity. • Machine washable at 40°C • Lifespan: several months.
