Hallux valgus is a misalignment of the big toe, in the direction of the other toes. The head of the first metatarsal bone extends further away from the foot and protrudes, creating an internal exostosis, or bunion.
This deformity affects 5 to 10% of the population and can be particularly disabling.
- Place the big toe in the correct position.
- The external band also ensures that the pressure on the exostosis (lump) is reduced, thereby relieving pain.
- The ultra-fine fixation strap around the midfoot and supporting Epithelium cushion prevent the forefoot from sagging and expanding laterally.

What is this medicine used for?
Wearing the Epitact dual-corrective orthosis during the day corrects the hallux valgus and prevents it from growing further. The orthosis helps relieve joint pain and discomfort during the day.

Directions for use
The corrective orthosis can be used in all types of shoes, has a flexible and ultra-thin patented design, and features EPITHELIUM™ FLEX technology. Unlike rigid orthoses, this model works to address all factors that aggravate the deformity.
• Machine washable at 40°C
• Duration of use: several months.

Contraindications
The brace should not be used if the big toe can no longer move sideways.
