Wearing the EPITACT® Flexible Proprioceptive Thumb Orthosis during the day helps relieve joint pain caused by osteoarthritis at the base of the thumb (rhizarthrosis). It limits traumatic micro-movements (moving the hands in space while walking, talking, etc.), keeps the thumb in a resting position, and retains local heat at the joint. This flexible and thin orthosis allows you to retain full hand function: you can drive, write, use your phone, etc., and wear your watch or jewelry!

What is this medicine used for?
This flexible orthosis was developed to relieve joint pain caused by rhizarthrosis or osteoarthritis of the thumb. It allows for daily gestures while limiting traumatic micro-movements.

Directions for use
Put the brace on by inserting your thumb through the opening provided. The seam should be on the palm side. For optimal comfort, turn the seam slightly toward the center of the palm.

Machine washable at 40°C.
Do not use stain removers (acetone, solvent, etc.).
Air dry. Do not iron.

Contraindications
This project has undergone all mandatory tests under ISO 10993-1. Should an incident occur despite these tests, immediately discontinue use of the product and notify Millet Innovation.
Do not use on an open turn.
In case of severe edema, monitor the hand closely during use. Remove the brace if it is too tight and restricts blood circulation. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use near an open flame or any incandescent object.
