Elastomull Self-Adhesive, self-adhering, elastic fixation bandage; for fixing dressings, especially on curved and moving body parts.

Highly elastic and skin-friendly white fixation bandage made of 40% cotton, 30% viscose, and 30% polyamide. The fixation bandage is impregnated with micro-droplets of natural rubber latex, causing the bandage to stick to itself (self-adhering), but not to the skin or hair. Due to the latex impregnation, the bandage does not slip, and a limited (1/3) overlap per turn is sufficient. Due to the weaving technique and the use of polyamide, the bandage is particularly elastic (approximately 50% in length), allowing even complicated dressings to be applied quickly and easily. With normal use, thanks to its elastic properties, there is no venous congestion, and freedom of movement is hardly restricted. To prevent venous congestion, the bandage is preferably not applied under tension. It is therefore easier to unroll the bandage turn by turn before fixing the dressing. Even after prolonged use, the elasticity does not decrease.
Thanks to the high cotton and viscose content and the wide mesh of the fabric, the bandage is very soft, comfortable, and skin-friendly. The open weave structure ensures that the skin can breathe well.
The bandage can be sterilized in an autoclave or with gas.
