Chyavanprash paste
This traditional Ayurvedic product, prepared according to an original recipe handed down from classical Ayurvedic texts, contains only fully ripe amla fruits, the precious bamboo product vanshlochan, and a wide range of high-quality, pure indigenous herbs, fruits, roots, and spices. These are carefully harvested from the best and most pristine areas of the Himalayas and other regions of India.
One of the most important ingredients in this wonderful recipe from ancient tradition is amalaki. The fruit of the amla tree contains a high level of vitamin C. It balances all three doshas. Five of the six tastes (all except salt) are combined in it.
In classical Ayurvedic texts, amalaki is praised as one of the best and foremost rasayanas (life elixirs) of Ayurveda due to its rare combination of positive properties. Authentic Ayurvedic books even describe amalaki as a "divine medicinal plant."

Our original Maharishi Ayurveda Chyavanprash contains many other precious ingredients, such as "Dashmool," whose exotic name refers to a precious combination of ten Ayurvedic roots. Dashmool soothes all three doshas, but especially Vata. This extraordinary recipe also includes the famous Indian Piper longum (long pepper) and "Shatavari," the wild Indian asparagus (eating which is traditionally recommended by Ayurveda, especially for women), the delicious Vata-soothing "Ashwagandha" (Withania somnifera, also known as "Indian ginseng"), and a host of other unique ingredients.
