Contains 5-HTP 100mg
Ingredients Calcium carbonate, Griffonia seed extract (Griffonia simplicifolia = California poppy), anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide, stearic acid & magnesium salts of fatty acids), tablet coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerol).
Usage Take up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals and half an hour before bedtime.
Start with one tablet and increase if necessary, unless otherwise advised.
5-HTP is best used for periods of up to 3 months.
Do not use during pregnancy or if breastfeeding.
Mild drowsiness may occur in some people.
The advice is therefore to avoid driving and operating machinery until you know how you react to 5-HTP.
Do not use in combination with medications that affect brain metabolism, such as antidepressants and tranquilizers.
