Patchouli is a well-known oil from the sixties and seventies. Clothes from India were recognizable by the scent of patchouli. The patchouli plant somewhat resembles our peppermint. Its strong scent has both admirers and haters. This is usually very clear. An important raw material for the perfume industry. Nervousness that manifests as skin complaints is soothed by patchouli. It can also be used where the skin needs repair, such as for pimples, inflamed skin, etc. When diffused, patchouli has a grounding and uplifting effect and the oil is good to use for stress and fatigue. For use on the skin, the essential oil should be mixed with a massage oil or fatty vegetable oil.
