Red mandarin is the cold-pressed oil extracted from the peel of very ripe mandarins, and is more intense and sweeter than the aroma of a regular mandarin. The scent is unmistakable and loved by practically everyone. It's a fragrance that uplifts and cheers. Children especially love the scent.

The oil has a relaxing effect due to the presence of N-methyl anthranilate, a nitrogenous compound in mandarin oil. If insomnia stems from tension, mandarin oil is a beneficial remedy. Applied to the skin, mixed with a massage oil or fatty plant oil, mandarin oil softens stretch marks and hard scars.
