Mandarin is the cold-pressed oil from the peel of the fruit with a characteristic scent: fresh with a sweet undertone. The scent is unmistakable and loved by practically everyone. It is a scent that uplifts and makes you happy. Children, in particular, love the scent. The oil has a relaxing effect due to the presence of N-methyl-anthranilate, a nitrogen-containing compound found in mandarin oil. If insomnia stems from tension, mandarin oil is a pleasant remedy.

Applied to the skin, mixed with a massage oil or fatty vegetable oil, mandarin oil softens stretch marks and hard scars.
