CO2 extraction is a clean extraction method using carbon dioxide gas (like the bubbles in sparkling water) as a solvent. The scent of CO2 extracts is the most refined of all and resembles that of the fresh plant! The oils are extracted at a low temperature. Due to the pressure, in addition to the fragrance, pigment and any resins are also extracted from the plant, which is why a CO2 extract is sometimes thicker or even solid in form. In that case, gently and slowly warm the bottle in hot water or a bain-marie before use.

Usage
Mix 1 drop of cinnamon oil into a teaspoon of vegetable oil and add to cookie dough, pie dough or batter. Do not use cinnamon CO2 extract on the skin.
